Plotting of data in graphical form is a powerful tool for conceptualizing the
meaning of the data and helping to discover experimental error (bad data due
either to faulty procedures or experimental blunders.) In plotting graphs you
should take advantage of computer graphics packages such as KaleidaGraph, Excel,
or other plotting software.
To access KaleidaGraph:
To access KaleidaGraph from one of the Physics Lab PC's:
Click on the Start Button.
Select the "Shortcut to KGraph" command.
To access KaleidaGraph from a PC:
Select the "My Network Places".
Double click on "Microsoft Windows Network".
Double click on the "Knox" workgroup.
Find and double click on the icon for computer "nas".
Double click on the folder "PC_Apps".
Double click on the folder "Kaleidagraph35".
Double click on the program "KGraph".
To access KaleidaGraph from a Mac:
Select the "My Network Places".
Double click on "Microsoft Windows Network".
